Comments: South Africa - from Morgan's Bay in the Eastern Cape Province up into northern Kwa Zulu-Natal and Swaziland in deep humus in shady, warm, dry forest habitats. Named for the Duchess of Northumberland, Lady Charlotte Florentia Percy - née Clive, who cultivated and first flowered the genus in England in the 1820s.
