The Little Kurrajong is a small tree to 4m on rocky slopes in dry vine thickets and simpler rainforests of south-east Queensland. It is a highly variable species that drops it’s leaves before flowering to reduce stress in dry periods. Bright clusters of pink-red flowers appear in spring before new leaves emerge.
