Comments: Queensland, New South Wales. Occurs from the Carnarvon Range and the Darling Downs in Queensland through inland New South Wales. to the Western Plains on heavy alluvial soils and decomposed granite in hilly country. It could be planted for shade, windbreaks, woodlots and for its nectar rich flowers in inland and dry subtropical regions but is virtually unknown in cultivation. It is an important source of honey.
