Comments: A widespread and locally common rainforest species of New South Wales and southern Queensland, with more sporadic occurrences in northern Queensland and Papua New Guinea. Once a popular timber tree but economic quantities no longer occur. The bluish-black fleshy seed stalks are juicy and edible, ripening from March to July. The plants are either male or female.
