Comments: An iconic Australian plant found on sandstone ridges and hillsides from the Sydney region to the Blue Mountains. Usually with little or no trunk, it forms a skirt of long, narrow leaves. Tall flower spikes appear from August to March. Traditionally used by First Nations People for food, fire starting, and strong resin adhesive.
