Comments: Asia, all states of Australia except the Northern Territory. This species has been spread since European settlement of Australia and has become weedy in certain areas. It is recommended that it not be cultivated within the vicinity of bushland. Suited to a wide range of soils and climatic conditions but can suffer damage from heavy frost. Propagate by seed or division of clumps.
